I've just watched the Daily Show (we get it a day late in the UK) and saw this:




I can't quite believe it's not a Daily Show spoof - did this really air on CNN as a serious feature, or do they have a comedy hour? I thought CNN was meant to be relatively serious, and while I guess there needs to be some light and shade, this piece is so light it floats away.

I've also got to deal with a slightly delicate situation. I met a guy on New Year's Eve, we danced, had fun but that was it, and I'm not interested in him at all (he was the evangelical vegan who irritated me). He's now sent me a Facebook friend request. I could ignore it, but he's a member of the veggie group I've joined (and want to stay in) so it could make things difficult. I'm trying to think of a firm yet nice way of making it clear I'm not interested without lying and saying I've already got a boyfriend. Any ideas welcome!
