I had some amazing news yesterday - some of the loan I made through Kiva has been repaid.
I didn't think it wouldn't be, but still, it's really restored my faith in the goodness of people, and not to sound too cheesy, made me feel very grateful for what I have. It feels great to be able to help someone without it just being a handout.

In a complete change of subject, unfortunately I think my very unwelcome visitors are back - I really don't mind rodents, but in their proper place (outside) rather than in my kitchen cupboards. I'm hoping that the droppings I found were ones I missed when I cleaned everything after Pest Control came, but I'm not holding my breath. Ick. Time to get the sanitising spray out again.
